Eva J Scoville
Art has been an integral part of my life since childhood in Germany, where visits to museums with my father and art workshops with my mother shaped my creative foundation.
Today, my work explores human connections, spirituality, and the search for one's soul purpose.
I primarily paint with oil and acrylic, often incorporating mixed media such as oil pastels, paper, and found objects. Hidden within my pieces are messages of hope, love, and friendship, inviting viewers to engage deeply with their inner world and connections to the spiritual realm. Through my art, I strive to spark introspection and inspire a sense of unity and transcendence."

Interview
What inspires your art practice and keeps you motivated?
I draw inspiration from nature, personal experience, life's story, and the mystique around us — the things we cannot see but feel.
How does your mission as an artist influence the work you create?
My mission is to connect humans to their spiritual side and the wonders of possibility. To communicate my ideas, I embed subtle messages in my paintings.
Can you share a key part of your creative process that helps you stay focused?
A key aspect of my creative process is my emotional connection with each painting and its story. While I paint, this narrative generates an inner feeling and a flow that shifts my thinking from the analytical to the intuitive brain.
What mindset tip do you rely on to overcome challenges in your art career?
I rely on viewing challenges as opportunities for growth, which helps me stay resilient and motivated through the ups and downs of my art career.
